    Vintage Chester Gump Comic Character Ceramic Bisque Penny Doll Japan Boy Figurine
    This is Chester Gump and he was a member of a family from a comic strip that started in 1917 - this figurine is probably from the 1930's.  It is in very good condition for it's age and has no cracks or chips.  It does say Chester Gump and Made in Japan on the back.  There is paint loss - please see the pictures.  He measures 2 1/2 inches tall and is 1 inch wide.
